Lucknow University – B.Ed entrance examination 2010.


The eligibility criteria for B.Ed admissions has been modified by NCTE last year made 1.45 lakh candidates applying for B.Ed admission to stand in high confusion .

According to modified criteria the applicants should have scored 50% marks in graduation will be eligible to appear for B.Ed entrance examination. But this was not informed to Lucknow university before the announcement was given. Earlier it was 45% in graduation eligible to appear for entrance exam.


"The Lucknow University has been directed to refund a application fee of Rs 800 deposited by the aspirants having less than 50 per cent marks,"

"But neither the state government nor the Lucknow University was informed about the new norms, therefore, the university decided to conduct the entrance examination on the basis of norms fixed in 2007,"

Meanwhile, Rashtriya Lok Dal General Secretary Anil Dubey has demanded that the aspirants having less than 50 per cent marks should be allowed to take up the entrance examination.
