Biotech firm ,launches new fuel enzyme!!!

A Danish biotech company recently launched a new enzyme which turn agriculture waste into new bio-fuel at a competitive price.

The enzyme known as cellic C Tec2 ,breaks down cellulose in agriculture waste into sugar that can be fermented into ethanol & could convert corn cobs & stalks, wheat straw & wood chips into fuel.

The new enzyme was developed with the help of 29.3 million dollars from the US department of energy. Commercial product of ethanol is scheduled to start in 2011.
